Career Legacy - Chapter 28

Almost done folks... as we pick up where we left off Izzy has moved to a vacant lot to build her (first) dream house as per the Architect Career rules.




Ok ok.. it's more like a bachelorett pad, a little small but still ALL Izzy!





Izzy wasted no time cracking down on the skilling...




She also really enjoyed meeting all the folks in Twinbrook. Which reminded her... it was husband hunting time. She didn't want to wait like her mother and grandmother had.




What a hottie Shark is... Izzy passed, although she (WE!) really really wanted him as a husband and baby daddy. But since his great great great great great ( 27 greats ago!!) grandfather married our founding Sim I thought I'd pass and find someone new.




And then along came Goodwin Goode.



After the usual Abernathy whirlwind romancing ....




Goodwin Goode became Goodwin Abernathy!

-Goodwin is a fire fighter and his LTW is to be a Fire Fighter Super Hero (uh nope ain't happening)




Let the baby making commence. With the nursery chimes comes Izzy's decision to ditch the humble little house she first built and build a proper family home. She is well on her way with her career and has plenty of money thanks to the sale of her drafts and gems her mother left her.



Three bedroom, living room, drafting/reading room, laundry room, kitchen and dining room.

Goodwin settled right into family life. Working out and putting out fires... after all he had a baby on the way!



Izzy followed suit ... working on her drafts and designs. She was getting in at least two renovations a day!




Ooops ... ok Goodwin was old, his heart must have given out while battling a particularly intense fire. There was no way I'd be able to keep up with the fire fighter and architect professions together anyway.



Izzy however was heartbroken. She was expecting and she was not going to raise this child herself. First thing in the morning she'd scout perspective father figures for her soon to be born heir.




One of the few to actually have the time to visit her was Jacob Tang. Sure he was a bit of a mess most days but he really seemed to like Izzy and ... well, she was running out of time.
Even the maid seems concerned about his appearance! LOL




Jacob did have some issues being married to a ghost however (or maybe her being pregnant). But it was nothing a little zap from Seteena's mood altering device couldn't cure! Suddenly her being a ghost (or pregnant) really didn't bother him much at all.. but he sure was suddenly hungry.




During his first overnight stay Izzy went into labor.




...and had TWINS! River and Lucy Abernathy welcome to the challenge girls!!




Izzy was so grateful that she hadn't had to go through the whole delivery thing herself she gave Jacob a big hug....



... and then promptly popped the 'question' the next morning.

Jacob's LTW is to be a World Renowned Surgeon.





Izzy also had another surprise for Jacob. She wasn't going to just sit around and let fate decide that she and her girls be saddled with life as a ghost. She wanted to wear colors she and others could see and change her makeup and have it matter.. she wanted people to see what color her eyes and hair were damnit...... And she had found a way...





She spent her free time on weekends gathering all the materials she would need.




... and not just for one cure... but for THREE.




Finally she had all she needed. While Jacob was working late at the hospital she whipped up her first batch of Ambrosia... and hoped it worked!




.... looks ok....



... here we go




Doh! ... guess that Ambrosia had quite a punch to it. Never the less, finally we can see that Izzy is a cute blonde with purple eyes ... an Abernathy family trait.




Jacob is thrilled with Izzy's new look and even takes up working out with her so that he too can look good for her.




And our babies age up to Toddlers. With weird boots (I have to find that file and delete it!!)




Oh no... I knew Jacob was a little older than Izzy but wasn't expecting him to age up yet. It's going to be close with his LTW.



Finally Lucy and River are old enough to receive the gift that Ambrosia is... River doesn't seem overly thrilled with the idea of suddenly being human.




Tick tock, tick tock ... and time marches on in Twinbrook. Izzy finally reaches Level 10 in the Architect Career.



Her days are just a blur of constant remolding and renovation jobs around town. The girls and Jacob are pretty much left to their own devices. Jacob continues to steadily but slowly climb the medical career ladder. Lucy and River are more often than not fighting... Lucy gets good grades, River seems to float a constant 'C'.




It's nice to see the city appreciates all the reworking Izzy has done to some of the ugliestly ( I know it's not a real word, but it should be, LOL) decorated homes in a game ever!




In the meantime it's another round of birthdays and both girls enter their teens. I've decided to wait until they are ready to turn into young adults and then I will roll to see who is going to be our next heir. Neither are skilling and on total AI until then. The only Career left is Sculptor (and maybe Movie Star)




Happy Birthday Izzy!! You were one of the better looking sims in this long line of crazy genetics.




...now to just top off the last few renovations to make our 15 following Level 10!




You can do IT!!




Izzy has finally met all her Challenge goals and her LTW of Renaissance Sim Reach Lvl 10 in three skills (Charisma, Painting, Athletic)

Architect

-Reach Top of Career ~Check !!
-Complete 15 jobs after reaching level 10 ~Check!!
-Move to an empty lot and completely rebuild and landscape your own home ~Check (twice!!)



Jacob also completed his LTW to be a World Renowned Surgeon .. by just DAYS!




And with a roll of the dice we find that it's cranky River who is going to be our next heir and Career Challenge torch holder... Sculptor... right after I give her some eyebrows!
